Recently went to a wedding that had 3 separate occasions, 1st being the akad nikah in the morning, followed by a reception on the bride's side at night and lastly reception on the groom's side (my fiance's youngest brother) on a different night. Bride's side was all the way in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan. It was held at "Rumah Abong" in Negeri Sembilan's palace "Seri Menanti" area. Not a very pleasant journey heading there... winding road, hot, humid..! Groom's side on the other hand was held at Lake Club in KL. Phew! Nevertheless, all 3 occasions were pretty grand.
