Sigh... I guess today at work just wasn't my day... A folder that I'm now responsible of went missing and everyone I called got so defensive just because I asked if the folder was with them by any chance. I thought I was going nuts, really couldn't see the folder in the studio or something but the folder actually turned out to be outside the studio because someone left it there. The person responsible for it was the first person I called and he repeatedly said that he left the folder on the console. My arse! But he then appologized. So it's all good. I just hope that nothing like this will happen again.
Ohh... and then, as I was trying to teach a trainee (he's gonna be my partner on my show starting this Monday), he accidentally let me go live on air without me realising it, until a colleague actually called me to tell that my voice could be heard live on the air at that very moment. Oh, gosh, I was so fortunate not to let any vulgarity out of my mouth! Erk! Now, this trainee had learned his lesson well I guess. He's been a trainee since Monday and he already had the guts to tell me which microphone I should use and all. I wanted to sit next to him while I do the talking and he does the paneling. Oh but what did he tell me? He doesn't want me to sit next to him 'coz when I teach him stuff, he can't learn. Konon konon nya he wants to do hard core style kot. He wants to learn everything on his own so fast. At the end of the day, it was MY show that he screwed up with!
So I guess today was just not my day. Sigh.
